History of Philadelphia WebQuest

Introduction: Welcome my sixth grade history class! Since all of us live near the great city of Philadelphia, I thought that everyone should know certain things about our great city. So pay attention, because this will be on your next test. I have constructed a Web Quest that will help prepare you for this upcoming exam. In this webpage, I have provided you important information that you WILL need to know in order to be a better Philadelphian. During your time in this Web Quest, you will learn about the historical figure named Benjamin Franklin that once walked the city streets of Philadelphia and how he made a difference not only here, but all over the world. Also, you will learn about the historic building known as Idependence Hall and how this building impacts us today. Along the way, I am going to ask you some questions that can be answered by the web-links that I will be providing you with. Some of those questions may be on the test. So have fun and do not be afraid to do this with a few of your classmates. I will allow you classtime to complete this webquest. At the end of this Web Quest, I have an extra credit assignment for you if you choose to do so. If you do decide to participate in the extra credit, it will count as 5 points towards your exam score. Do I have your attention now?
