Process

Part 1

For the first part of this webquest you are to read, research and answer the ten questions about Benjamin Franklin and Independence Hall that are provided for you in the Task section of this WebQuest. If you wish, you may do this in groups of three to four. Also, I recommend that if you choose to work in groups, it would be smart to split the questions into sections. For exaample: if you are working in a group of four, then two of the group members will answer the five questions about Benjamin Franklin. Then the other two group members answer the five questions about Independence Hall. Once all of the questions have been answered, you are to then use Microsoft Word to record the questions and the answers. I would then like you to print them out and hand them in to me for a grade.

Part 2

In the second part of this WebQuest, you are to construct and present a PowerPoint presentation to the entire class. In this PowerPoint, you or your group will present what your group or yourself felt was the most interesting and important information that you learned about Benjamin Franklin and Independence Hall.
Guidelines for creating your PowerPoint
1. PowerPoint must contain atleast five slides.
2. Must include atleast two pictures in the presentation.
3. Everyone in the group must speak during the presentation.
4. Have some fun!!

Part 3

This part of the WebQuest is OPTIONAL and will count as extra credit on your test.

If you choose to participate in this extra credit, then the assignment is to write a two page reaction paper about your experience with this WebQuest. Please provide in your paper what you liked and disliked about this WebQuest and also, if you felt that this was an effective method to prepare for a test. Prepare your reaction paper in Microsoft Word and hand it in to me. If you meet the requirements of the extra credit, then you will recieve 5 extra credit points on your test that is coming up! So good luck!
